Self-catering · West Coast, Western Cape
A lime-washed two-bedroom home in the quiet fishing village of Jacobsbaai — the beach a short walk away, the braai swept and waiting, the Atlantic at the door.
The house
Open-plan and full of light, with a kitchen you can actually cook in and a patio built around the braai.
The living, dining and kitchen run together into one easy space — a dining table that seats six, comfortable seating, a TV and WiFi for the slow evenings. The kitchen is fully kitted for self-catering: stove and oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, and a washing machine for longer stays. Step out to a furnished patio with a built-in braai, with firewood on hand and secure parking on the property.
Rooms & beds
King-size bed with an en-suite bathroom — bath, shower, basin and toilet. Space for an optional infant cot.
Two single beds, ideal for children or friends sharing, with a separate bathroom close by.
An en-suite off the main bedroom with a bath and shower, plus a second bathroom with a shower serving the rest of the house.
The area
Jacobsbaai is a small, easy village made for fishing, walking the shoreline and doing very little. It's also well placed for day trips — Paternoster for the seafood, Langebaan for the lagoon, the West Coast National Park for the spring flowers, and Saldanha just up the road for anything you forgot to pack.
